Iberia Brown Jasmine Rice 5 lbs is a fragrant, long-grain brown jasmine rice that cooks into fluffy, slightly chewy grains ideal for everyday meals and Asian-inspired dishes.
Harvested and milled to retain natural flavor and texture, this 5-pound bag of Iberia Brown Jasmine Rice brings a nutty aroma and whole-grain nutrition to your table. The brown jasmine variety preserves the bran layer for added fiber and a heartier bite than white jasmine rice, while keeping the delicate jasmine scent that complements many cuisines. It’s ready to pair with stir-fries, grilled proteins, bowls, and simple vegetable sides.
How do I cook Iberia Brown Jasmine Rice to get fluffy, separate grains?
Cooking brown jasmine rice needs a bit more time and water than white rice to soften the bran. Use a measured ratio and gentle simmering—bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover until water is absorbed and grains are tender. Fluff with a fork at the end to separate grains and release fragrance.
- Use roughly 2 to 2.5 cups water per 1 cup rice depending on stovetop or pot.
- Bring to a boil uncovered, then reduce heat to low and cover for 35–45 minutes.
- Let rest off heat 5–10 minutes, then fluff with a fork before serving.
What dishes pair best with Iberia Brown Jasmine Rice?
Brown jasmine rice pairs well with bold flavors and lighter preparations alike; its nutty notes and aroma act as a balanced base. It complements grilled meats, saucy stews, and vegetable-forward bowls, and also works well in pilafs, fried rice, and grain salads for an extra whole-grain boost.
- Stir-fries with soy or coconut-based sauces.
- Grilled chicken, fish, or tofu with citrus or herb marinades.
